Broccoli Casserole

INGREDIENTS

2 packages frozen chopped broccoli, cooked* and drained well

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 can cream of mushroom soup

½ cup mayonnaise

1 egg, slightly beaten

2 tsp. chopped onion

1 ½ tbsp butter 

Butter type crackers 



INSTRUCTIONS 

Preheat the oven to 325°F.


Mix all ingredients thoroughly right in the pan used to cook the broccoli or in a mixing bowl.


Spoon into a lightly greased casserole dish.


Dot with bits of butter and top with crushed crackers.


Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden.


Serves 8.


*Cook broccoli just until crisp-tender.
