Chocolate Pecan Pie

2 eggs

1 cup sugar

½ cup flour

½ cup butter, melted

1 tbsp vanilla

1 cup pecans, chopped

6 oz semi sweet chocolate morsels

1 unbaked pie crust

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Beat eggs slightly in a mixing bowl.

Blend in sugar, flour, butter and vanilla.

Stir in pecans, and chocolate morsels.

Pour into the unbaked pie crust.

Place a rim of foil around the edge of the crust during the first half of baking to prevent it from over browning.

Place pie into the preheated oven, and bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool and serve. Top with ice cream if desired.

Serves 6-8.
