Are you ready to feast? I know I am and I've got the tools for you to create the perfectly paired Thanksgiving meal! And this is not book learning people... this Saturday from 1-4, we will be serving up 10 different dishes from our friends and local caterers, Simply Delicious perfectly paired with 50 different beers and wines.
Some of the food will include: applewood smoked bacon wrapped provolone with rosemary pesto, garlic roasted fingerling potatoes with avacado creme and smoked paprika, and of course there's the savory turkey with caramelized shallots or lamb confit with goat cheese and wilted spinach. And we haven't even gotten to the desserts yet! All of these delicacies will be paired expertly of course with many options: budget, organic and delicious. We'll have a few Pinot Noirs, Rieslings, and some offerings from South America, Italy, France, the States and beyond. We'll have beers from the wide world as well: some from Lost Abbey brewed with raisins and rosemary, another distinguished beer from Belgium brewed with sweet gale that is sure to accentuate the savory herbs in your Thanksgiving spice rack and can you even handle hearing more?!
